WHAT IS A DRINKS 3PL?
A drinks 3PL is a third-party logistics provider that stores, picks, packs and distributes beverage products for you. It covers the warehousing, the order fulfilment and the delivery, set up for the weight, fragility and case-based movement that drinks involve.
CAN YOU STORE AND SHIP ALCOHOL?
Yes. We store and distribute duty-paid beer, wine and spirits stock for drinks brands, handling both case and pallet movements. If your stock is duty-suspended or you have specific excise requirements, raise it with us at the quote stage so we can confirm the right setup for your range.
HOW DO YOU KEEP BREAKAGE RATES DOWN?
Drinks are packed for the route they are travelling, with proper outer cartons, dividers and void fill for parcel shipments and secure palletisation for trade orders. We monitor breakage rates by line, so the packing specification gets better over time rather than staying static.
DO YOU HANDLE CHILLED DRINKS LIKE KOMBUCHA AND COLD BREW?
Yes. Our west London warehouse has chilled storage alongside ambient, so temperature-sensitive drinks are held and delivered within spec. Chilled and ambient lines from the same brand can stay with one provider.
CAN YOU SUPPLY BOTH RETAIL AND DIRECT TO CONSUMER?
Yes. We pick pallets and cases for wholesale and trade customers and single mixed cases for consumers, all from the same stockholding, with both channels reported through one system.
IS THERE A MINIMUM VOLUME OR A LONG CONTRACT?
No long lock-in. We work on rolling agreements, and storage and handling scale with your volumes, which suits drinks brands with strong summer or Christmas seasonality.
